WFICC: Essential Emergency and Critical Care (EECC) survey
The surge of critically ill patients in the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a rapid increase in interest in emergency and critical care and a need to accelerate efforts to improve care. EECC is a new concept defined as the basic care that all critically ill patients should receive in all hospitals in the world. Preventable deaths due to such care being missed are common in hospitals throughout the world.
